Community Standards
Last updated November 1, 2026
Prism is a game people play together, and watch together. These are the rules for how we treat each other in it. They are part of our End User License Agreement, so breaking them can cost you your name, your ranked standing or your account.
For counsel: Our draft (14 October 2026), written as you suggested as a separate document. Sections 5 and 11 of your EULA refer to it. Please review it, and say whether anything here should move into the EULA itself.
1.Be decent to other players
There is no chat in Prism, but there are still ways to reach people: your name, your deck names, the reactions you send during a game, friend requests and challenges. Do not use any of them to:
- harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone, in a game or out of it;
- insult someone for who they are, including their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age;
- send a stream of reactions, friend requests or challenges to someone who has not asked for them;
- follow someone from game to game after they have blocked you.
You can block any player. A block ends any friendship between you, stops friend requests and challenges in both directions, and takes each of you out of the other’s search results. The other player is not told.
2.Names and deck names
Your name is shown at the table, on the leaderboard and on stream. Deck names can be seen by other players and by anyone you share a deck link with. Neither may be:
- offensive, hateful or sexual;
- pretending to be another player, a streamer, a member of our team, or a real person;
- an advertisement, a link, or a way to contact you outside the game;
- someone else’s personal information, or your own real name if you are under 18.
We block many words automatically. If a name gets through that breaks these rules, we can reset it and ask you to choose another (EULA, section 5).
3.Play fair
- Do not cheat: no modified clients, scripts or bots that play for you, and no tools that read hidden information.
- Do not use a bug to win, to earn cards, Shards or other rewards, or to damage another player’s game. If you find one, tell us at support@prismtcg.gg. Reporting a bug is never held against you.
- Do not arrange the result of a ranked game with your opponent, or lose on purpose to move someone up the ladder.
- Do not leave ranked games on purpose. Leaving counts as a loss and earns a short wait before your next ranked game; doing it repeatedly is treated as a breach of these standards.
- Use one account. Do not make a new account to get around a suspension, a ranked penalty or a block.
4.Trading and the marketplace
- Cards trade on the marketplace for Shards, which have no cash value. Do not buy, sell or trade cards, Shards, packs or accounts for real money or anything else outside the game (EULA, sections 5 and 7).
- Do not use the marketplace to move value between your own accounts, or to pass rewards to someone else in exchange for something outside the game.
- Do not try to mislead other traders, for example with listings meant to look like something they are not.
5.Translations and other things you send us
Players can suggest better translations of cards and of the game. Suggest what the text should say, in the language it is in. Suggestions are read before they are used; ones that are abusive, off-topic or spam are removed, and repeated misuse is a breach of these standards.
6.Streaming
You are welcome to stream and record Prism (EULA, section 8). On stream, the same standards apply to what you do in the game. Do not use our game to direct harassment at another player, and do not show another player’s personal information.
7.Reporting
You can report a player from the table or from your friends list, for harassment, cheating, an offensive name or spam. Reports are reviewed by our team. Reporting is private: the player you reported is not told who reported them. Please only report what you have seen; false reports made to get someone in trouble are themselves a breach of these standards.
For anything else, or anything urgent, write to support@prismtcg.gg.
8.What we do about it
We act in proportion to what happened (EULA, section 11). Depending on how serious it is, and whether it has happened before, we may:
- warn you;
- reset your name or a deck name;
- take away rewards, cards or ranked points gained by breaking the rules;
- suspend your account for a time;
- close your account permanently.
Unless we need to act immediately, we tell you what we did and why. A suspension is held against every sign-in the account used, so a new account made with them does not end it. If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal by writing to support@prismtcg.gg.
9.Changes
We may update these standards as the game changes. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
